Shawn Gabel
LawyerShawn grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan and moved to Vancouver in 2001. While in Vancouver, he had a career in the construction industry, was highly involved in the local music scene, and completed his political science degree at Simon Fraser University in 2010.
Shawn earned his Law degree in 2015 from the University of Victoria where he participated in the co-operative education program, and held positions with the BC Ministry of Justice – Civil Policy and Legislation Office, the Capital Regional District, and the Office of the Ombudsperson.
After obtaining his Law degree, Shawn articled with Swift Datoo and was called to the Bar in 2016. Shawn appears regularly in Provincial Court and Supreme Court on behalf of clients. Shawn advises clients on a broad range of litigation matters including property disputes and family law matters.
Shawn is a board member of the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
