Suzanne Grant
LawyerSuzanne graduated from Highland Secondary in the Comox Valley and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from the University of British Columbia. She completed her Law degree at the University of Victoria, where she participated in the co-operative education program. Suzanne was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2013.
Suzanne’s preferred area of practice is wills, estates, and trusts litigation. She enjoys advising executors and beneficiaries with respect to contested estate accounts and administration under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act, and helping resolve conflicts regarding powers of attorney and other incapacity issues.
Her practice also includes committeeships (adult guardianship orders), and elder law related disputes. She also advises clients in relation to probate and estate and incapacity planning matters.
Suzanne is a contributing author to The Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia’s widely used publication, “BC Probate & Estate Administration Practice Manual”, and “Estate Disputes in British Columbia: A Litigator’s Guide”. She is a board member of the Comox Valley Family Services Association, and the Sid Williams Theatre Society.
