Solicitor

We are seeking a solicitor to join our very busy corporate, commercial and real estate practice group. Swift Datoo LLP serves many diverse clients in the Comox Valley and British Columbia, including individuals and companies both large and small.

The ideal candidate is a versatile lawyer seeking a diverse and fulfilling legal practice. We have an experienced team of solicitors, conveyancers, and staff to support the needs of our many clients. As a team, we will guide and mentor you to grow a successful practice at our firm.

Litigator – Civil and Family

Swift Datoo is seeking an experienced litigator to join our busy litigation practice group. The ideal candidate will have a litigation background, at least 5 years of experience in litigation matters, and be able to advise clients in both family and civil litigation matters. Preference will be given to lawyers with trial experience in BC Supreme Court. We will also prioritize a versatile lawyer who can respond to the needs of our clientele, and we encourage candidates with fewer years of experience to apply for this position. Our firm has an experienced group of litigators and family lawyers, and a supportive staff to assist you in your career.

Swift Datoo LLP is looking for a full-time legal assistant to work with one of our
associates. The ideal candidate would have recent experience in litigation work.
Your skills and knowledge would include:

  • Familiarity with Supreme Court Rules
  • Strong background in drafting, filing, and serving Court documents
  • Attention to detail
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Being organized and having the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • The ability to prioritize and work on several tasks at one time
  • Experience in wills, estate administration and estate planning are considered an
    asset but not required

You will have strong communication skills, be willing to learn, and have the ability to
work effectively with a team and independently. We will offer a competitive salary with
